ST HELENA
FAMIY BATHROOM
In the original layout of our St. Helena bathroom, a shower awkwardly perched over a large corner spa bath made accessibility a challenge. Moreover, a bulky double vanity monopolized valuable floor space, leaving little room to manoeuvre. Recognizing the need to prioritize safety and convenience, our clients sought to future-proof their bathroom while ensuring wheelchair accessibility. Yet, they didn't want to sacrifice style; they envisioned a modern, chic space adorned with thoughtful care accessories, accented with the colour blue, and featuring a striking patterned tile.
To fulfill this vision, we embarked on a transformative journey. Out went the oversized spa bath, replaced with a sleek Fienza acrylic corner bath, maximizing space without compromising on style. Downsizing the vanity opened up the floor plan, allowing for the creation of a spacious walk-in shower. To ensure accessibility, we strategically placed grab rails along the main entryway and corners of the shower, providing stability and support where needed most.
Despite the renovations, our clients were keen to retain the charm of the original square glass window. Now, it serves a dual purpose, acting as a convenient ledge for the bath area while preserving the bathroom's unique character.
The result? A harmonious blend of style and functionality, where safety and sophistication coexist seamlessly. This revamped sanctuary not only meets our clients' immediate needs but also sets the stage for years of comfortable and stylish living.
